Small, cozy, trendy lunch spot. A great find with a wonderful selection of food. The Monte Cristo is perfection. Excellent service.
Their rolls/bread or so yeasty you could almost get "hi" from the aroma!! My husband's favorite is the cream filled chocolate cake donuts with chocolate icing! Glad they put no calories in them!! Wink enjoy--almost everything we have had there is delicious--and we been coming for probably decades… Even when they were back in the boonies-- in the country!!!! Laugh out loud xo
They get five stars from me because of their ice cream alone. Ruth the owner makes the ice cream right in the store and its landed in my top five list out of 110 places tried in the USA and abroad. I devoured a cup of butter pecan but tried some other samples that were just as delicious. I also bought pumpkin but bread and banana but bread which I've yet to try but I can tell you that they both feel soft and moist and I can't wait to taste them. While checking out, I saw people eating eye catching meals in the cafe section so although I can't say what it tastes like, I can say that it looked delicious and people seemed to be enjoying their choices.
The food is good. My sausage sandwich was delicious. Beef vegatable soup may not have been homemade but tasted good. Peanut butter pie perfect ending. However, we were seated in a 2 person booth where staff's service station is located. Very congested area. Awkward and uncomfortable when another table was available on main floor. A couple behind us were graciously seated there.
This is a quaint place. The food was very good and the atmosphere is really nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.
